A Little Ripple Workshop

The Burleigh Common, Burleigh Heads

Plastic Free Gold Coast is excited to team up with Burleigh Common again to bring you our first plastic free workshop for primary school age kids. We want to create a brighter future for our local Gold Coast community, and it’s so important for our kids to understand their role in safeguarding and improving the environment – it belongs to them!!

Hear from Take 3 for the Sea advocate A Little Ripple, Amber is incredibly passionate about ocean conservation. Her effort to reduce plastic entering our ocean has had a huge impact on her family as well as her school and social clubs. She will share some of her tips for reducing plastic with nude lunchboxes, school activities, recycling and community involvement.

With each ticket purchase you will receive a Plastic Free Gold Coast reusable tote bag that we will decorate with beautiful sea creatures and whatever else inspires you. Make sure you wear clothes that you wouldn’t mind adding a little paint to!

Parents are most welcome to stay and get involved. Coffee and snacks will be available so sit back and relax in the calming Common atmosphere.
